Solitaire Classic Klondike is a standard-deck Klondike Solitaire card game that initially displays seven vertical columns of mixed cards that feature blue card backs and large print, suit-based card faces on a classic green felt tabletop, four empty foundation spaces, and a 24-card, one-card draw deck. The player's goal is to transfer all cards from the columns and deck to the foundation area.
The player uses the Settings gear icon on the lower toolbar to alter the game to match their preferences. They can turn off sound effects, tap to move, automatic hints and automatic complete, or turn on the three-card draw mode. They can customize the theme by switching to different tabletop or card faces and backs.
The toolbar also provides access to statistics based on one-card and three-card games, including the total points, the number of wins without using an undo option, the best score, the average score, the best winning time, and the average winning time. The player can select a new game at any time or reload the current one to start over. They can also use the hint and undo icons if they need help.
In Solitaire Classic Klondike, the player moves cards around between the columns and foundation area to build new piles of ascending, standard-sequence cards by suit. They start with the Aces (A) and end with the Kings (K).
They rearrange the columns into descending, standard sequence columns (K, Q, J...). If they get stuck, they can use draw pile cards as gap fillers or the hint button. They can also go through all the deck cards and reload the remaining ones without any penalty or advertising requirement.
