Pixel Perfect is a casual puzzle game in which a player crafts giant pieces of artwork outdoors with shapes made of cube-style pixels. The game currently consists of 16 levels or environments, including a desert, a beach and a forest clearing.
Each level starts with a pattern indentation on the ground and shapes similar to jigsaw puzzle pieces. The player slides a piece into the patterned area. When they perform this task correctly, another area of the artwork opens up, and more shapes appear for placement. When they complete the entire pattern, the colors of the pieces change to reveal the hidden art, such as an anthropomorphic heart, a bowl of ice cream, a bunch of cherries, or a golden key.
Pixel Perfect rewards the player with coins. The player can double the amount with an ad-supported multiplier. They also receive tools that reveal the artwork faster. That said, they must watch ads to use these tools after the first free time. The game features ad-supported levels as well that only unlock if the player watches an advertisement.
When the player earns enough coins, they can randomly unlock new pixel cubes. Options include damaged box-like cubes, blocks made of tinier cubes, Lego-style cubes, circuit board blocks, cube-shaped frames, and blocks with glowing edges.
