Money Land is a fun, relaxing idle game that asks a player to do nothing more than start the process of investing in the redevelopment of a city called Money Land. The player directs a blue stickman to collect on his back piles of cash from a street on a short stretch of city block that features a shop, a dumpster and an icecream truck. The player invests in these structures by matching the amounts posted on the ground in front of them. Once they complete the investment, the site passively generates stacks of cash every few seconds. The game also offers the player opportunities to open up new blocks and structures, including a diner, a market, a donut shop, a bank and office and apartment buildings.
As with most idle games, the player can choose their level of involvement in continued investment and remodeling processes. The game automatically hires orange-beige stickmen district workers who collect and invest money at different sites for the main character after the player reaches a certain level of investment in the city. If the player decides to remain active, they can use a scooter or other type of vehicle to gather cash faster. They can pick up boosters or perform upgrades that increase the stickman's movement and collection speeds and the amount of money the character can collect at any given time. They can also hire more workers and perform actions that increase the general population, which then improves cash flow because non-worker characters generate rent.
