Mini Monkey Mart is a semi-idle game similar to the popular Monkey Mart business-management game. The player helps a monkey run a farmette and grocery store next to a busy thoroughfare in a tropical location with palm trees and beachfront properties. The player learns how to harvest crops, raise livestock, use animal byproducts to create food stuffs, stock display cases, handle transactions at a cash wrap, hire employees and manage and expand a business.
The player doesn't have any employees when they start out. Instead, they must perform the start-up tasks of a business owner, farmer, stocker and cashier. They collect bananas to sell and feed chickens. They sell eggs to make more money. Once they have enough revenues, they visit areas with white brackets that display money amounts to purchase additional farm zones, displays and production stations that can help them offer new products.
Eventually, the player adds cows and wheat to the store to produce milk cartons, loaves of bread and canned goods. They also hire helpers to accept payments, collect raw food and products, and perform other tasks. With employees, sales increase and cash flows faster. To make everything proceed more quickly, the player can upgrade the speed and capacity of their workers as well.
Mini Monkey Mart doesn't have any angry or troublesome customers. Instead, every customer waits patiently for the player to restock the displays.
