Police Evolution Idle is a semi-idle simulation game that focuses on the career of a beat cop and world-building in the cop's community. The player must perform the basic duties of a traffic police officer who wants to make the city feel safe again. They work their way up from the tedious job of handing out parking tickets to dealing with more serious criminals and crimes.
The player's avatar collects up to $5,000 from fining drivers who park illegally. They can also earn coins by watching advertisements. They use the money to unlock and upgrade community buildings. They start with the Police Center (Traffic, Jail, Suspect and Criminal) and unlock new types of vehicles or criminals.
Yet parking tickets pay very little money, which is why the game offers the player an alternative money-making scheme. They can accept a higher-paying bribe from a driver. That said, if they take a bribe, they must try to constantly run from a special agent who plans to penalize them by taking their entire cash balance.
Police Evolution Idle has some neat quirks that make gameplay interesting. The player can prevent the loss of their balance after taking bribes by spending the cash before the agent catches up to the avatar. If a criminal accidentally walks too close to the avatar, they're automatically captured and placed in handcuffs.
