Magic Piano Tiles is a music-rhythm, arcade game that requires that a player have an ear for music and great hand-eye coordination. It plays lovely songs from a variety of music genres. The player must help prevent the songs from becoming discordant by pressing tiles above a piano keyboard in the correct order at exactly the right moment when balls of matching colors roll under them. If they fail, they lose and must start over. If they do well, they receive a high score.
The game doesn't make this process easy for the player. Balls rapidly roll from the top of the screen toward the bottom on a background designed with a forced perspective. This unique point of view makes it difficult for a player to gauge how close the balls are to the matching tiles. They must also deal with increasingly difficult challenges, such as pressing tiles fpr different balls at the same time and dealing with faster music and ball rolls.
How to play:
Watch the flow of the balls. Wait until they're a second or two from the piano, and press the corresponding tiles. To achieve the best score, practice timing the balls with different songs and repeat any previously low-score levels.
Controls:
Magic Piano Tiles works with a wide range of input devices. That said, a player must press more than one of the tiles above the piano at the same time. As a result, it works best with keyboard arrow keys or a touchscreen.
Keyboard: To press the purple, green or blue tiles, press the Left Arrow, Down Arrow or Right Arrow, respectively. To press more than one tile at the same time, press the corresponding keys at the same time.
Mouse: To press one of the tiles, click it. To handle more complicated gameplay, consider using a keyboard or touchscreen.
Mobile: To press a tile, tap it. To tap multiple tiles together, use more than one finger.
