GrindCraft is a crafting clicker game with similarities to Minecraft. It doesn't provide a pixelated, three-dimensional experience. Instead, the player grinds and crafts entirely on one screen that features a Grind area with click boxes on the left side and a Craft grid with item blocks on the right side.
The player starts by beating trees with a fist to collect wood. They use the first of four click boxes (Overworld, Mine, Food and Mobs) that become available as the player progresses through resource gathering and item crafting processes. Once the player has enough wood, they can craft a wide range of tools to speed up the crafting processes and creation of structural items. They can also start mining for underground resources that give them additional, stronger, or more useful items. Eventually, they can grow, process and refine food and livestock, build a community with villagers who can help, and use weapons to deal with mobs and monsters.
GrindCraft shows the player recipes for crafting items. It also announces each new item crafted with an update in an Achievements area that appears on the left side of the screen beneath the click boxes.
