Combo Jump is a levels-style helix-maze tower puzzle game without a visible central structure. Instead, it features semi-circular disc platforms suspended in the air as if attached to the side of a tower. The player's goal is to rotate the discs left and right so that a bouncing shape, initially a ball, drops through gaps in each disc to lower platforms until it reaches a green-topped, three-step dais at the base.
The player must never allow any shape to bounce on the same section of a platform twice. The game turns a spot red after a ball or other shape bounces on it. The shape also can't bounce on pre-existing red spots. If it ever touches a red area, the player must start again on the top platform.
Combo Jump rewards the player with coins when they reach the green-topped dais. After they earn a few hundred coins, they can upgrade the bouncing shape and unlock other areas of the game.
The first level, which they receive access to for free, is called Pipeio Classic and displays gradient red squares floating upward on a white background. The other levels include Resting in the Grass, The Forest Adventure, Hawaii Tour, American Stars, Cap of Vegetables, Neon Moon, Space Odyssey, Black & White and Sepia. Every level features more than a unique background image or animation. The disc platforms change to match a setting as well.
