Click 'n' Heroes is an idle game that requires a player to complete clicking tasks in a world where they fight enemies with a hero and his allies. The player starts by attacking dummies on a road leading through the countryside. The game features a wide range of hostile, rural or remote environments. The player is instructed to hit four zones on the dummies and future enemies to earn coins. Each enemy has a hit points bar above them. Every click is a hit. That said, some of the enemies wear armor that can reverse the damage.
The player receives free loot by attacking objects they find on the road, on the side of the road and in the air, such as money bags, flying animals carrying treasure chests and glowing fruit in trees. They can also upgrade the hero's skills and strength, collect god allies and upgrade their skills and turn on special features, such as tools that make the hits do more damage and an autoclicker. When the player hires allies, each god hits enemies automatically.
Click 'n' Heroes requires that the player complete a certain number of levels to achieve specific goals. The player must also have enough gold to make upgrades. If they choose to watch advertisements, for example, they can double the amount of gold they receive in four hours. They can access an autoclick tool early in the game that performs 10 times the damage per second. Yet, it only lasts 30 seconds.
