Rope Slash Online is a logic-puzzle game with physics-based play similar to Cut the Rope and Rope Slit. The player must cut ropes across 25 levels to knock down stacks of red cans with one or more balls. They receive a gradient-blue ball in the beginning. They can unlock up to three more skins (soccer ball, tennis ball and pool ball) by watching ads.
The player needs fantastic hand-eye coordination and almost-perfect timing to make certain that they cut a white rope in a precise way that allows an attached ball or other object to fall as desired. They also need the ball to roll through three gold stars floating in different spots.
Rope Slash Online presents the player with a lot of challenges. The player might need to cut a rope to drop a ball against a different ball or on top of an inclined platform. They might also need to cut a rope to drop a large box or section of platform into a trap to provide the ball with a surface to roll across toward the cans. Other obstacles include rotating platforms, tilting shelves and horizontal platforms that slide across the screen.
When the player performs well, they receive small, multicolored bursts of fireworks. When they perform poorly, they can reload a level without penalty.
