Knife Hit is a knife-throwing skill game similar to Knife Smash. The player's main objective is to throw various knives at rotating, round or spherical objects without allowing a knife to hit a previously thrown knife. Some levels, known as stages, require the player to also slice whole apples. They win points and apples. At certain stages, they unlock new knives from a collection of 20 total knives.
Throughout the game, the main object is a wooden disk cut from a tree trunk. At different points, the player must participate in "boss" fights that involve other objects, such as a wheel of cheese, a serrated circular saw blade, a diamond ball, a balloon, a poker chip, an electric fan, an apple pie, a gear and a wool ball. These objects might rotate faster or slower, change directions or completely stop without warning.
The player receives a preset number of knives for each stage, displayed as vertical icons on the left side of the screen. They must have excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity, mobility and timing to succeed.
Knife Hit penalizes the player if they fail to throw a knife with precision at an object and hit another knife. They must start over from the first stage and attempt to bypass the last successful stage and previous points.
The game also offers the player a free gift after they complete a specific number of play hours. It displays the present countdown clock on the home screen.
