Hospital Hustle is a semi-idle business-management simulation game. It challenges a player or two players to buy, set up, run and manage a busy hospital.
The player or players must initially perform all tasks, including setting up diagnostic and treatment equipment, refilling medicine dispensers, checking in patients at reception, and taking payments. Eventually, they open up new rooms, hire doctors and workers, and upgrade capacity, income, speed and other areas. With each change, the cost of overhead and productivity increases as well.
The "hustle" in the game's name isn't an exaggeration. A player must move quickly between various areas to keep up with the needs of patients and prompt happy outcomes. Whenever a patient receives fast, caring service, the game displays a positive message about the patient's experience. If a patient waits too long at reception, in a waiting room or in a diagnostic area, they leave the building and give a bad review.
Hospital Hustle allows the player to hire one doctor per room and three initial workers. They can also hire a receptionist, but they must first save $10,000. They can speed up the process and increase cash flow if they regularly upgrade income, open enough rooms, and hire enough doctors and workers.
It's important to note that a player must always direct their avatar to stand on the center of a purchase circle. If the avatar walks too quickly and overshoots the area on the floor, the game depletes the balance sometimes without opening the room. The player must then save up the money a second time.
