Gravity Ballz: Bricks Breaker is a shooter block-puzzle game. Against a black playfield with a gray border, the player uses a ball shooter to break numbered colored bricks displayed in various patterns across 51 levels. They also collect points, coins and stars.
The player receives a specific number of balls. After they select a target and align a shot, they release all balls from the shooter at once. Every impact from a ball reduces a brick's number by one. When no number remains, the brick breaks. The ball then bounces against additional bricks or drops to the bottom of the field and automatically returns to the shooter. Once all the balls return to the shooter, the game pushes the remaining bricks up the playfield by one row.
Although Gravity Ballz implies gravity is the only thing at play, the game also relies heavily on the player directing a shot. The player receives access to double targeting lines that allow them to first target a specific brick and then direct the trajectory of the first bounce away from that target.
The game provides the player with tools to decrease the brick numbers faster. For example, some boxes contain hidden boosters, such as bombs, electricity and extra balls. The player also receives access to boosters near the bottom-left corner. If they run out of these tools, they can buy more with coins that they release from broken bricks. They can also use coins to buy new ball skins. If they want additional coins or balls, they can watch advertising videos.
