Golden Farm is a business simulation game. It tasks the player with learning the ins and outs of renovating a farm, building a successful farming-related business, and expanding into other types of businesses and industries. It also offers fun and adventure through exploration of the world and treasure hunting.
The game walks the player step-by-step through everything they need to do to make the farm successful and complete tasks and goals. They start by selecting a male or female character. They then renovate some structures, harvest wheat, plant seeds, and take an order via the order board next to their house and delivery truck.�
Once the player makes enough money, they buy animal pens, animals and new plants to acquire foodstuffs like eggs, milk, vegetables and fruit trees, respectively. They also buy various types of processing equipment to process feed for their animals and produce final products for customers.�
The player expands the farm by buying nearby fields and using tools to remove stones and trees. They also add landscaping elements like fences, walkways and decorations. That said, not everything the player sells or uses comes from their own farm. They visit their neighbors' farms to buy useful tools and other items as well.
Golden Farm unlocks other areas when the player reaches certain levels, such as a vehicle trailer and a roadside stand. It offers the player opportunities to build a small airship and learn how to mine under the farm for precious gemstones and metals. Additionally, the player can join communities and travel to islands and other areas to explore, find raw materials and search for treasure chests. They can even open entertainment-related businesses.
