Domino Legend is a simulation of two versions of the popular Dominoes tabletop tile game. A player can choose Block or Draw dominoes. Their goal is to play several rounds to earn 100 points and golden dominoes before their opponent.
The player with the highest number of tile dots, or pips, goes first. Each player takes a turn placing tiles, one per turn, on the tabletop. A player can only place a tile from their hand that features the same number of pips as one of the two open squares of a free tile on one of the ends of the line that forms on the table. Double tiles that feature the same number of pips in each square are an exception. A player can place a matching tile on the side of a double.
The player starts Domino Legend by picking a country flag. They then select the game mode. They receive seven tiles, or bones, for their hand.
With a Block game, the player's goal is to block their opponent's moves until their opponent must repeatedly pass and the player places all their tiles on the tabletop first, their opponent wins by blocking and placing tiles, or neither player can make a move. In the latter scenario, the player with the smallest number of total pips in their hand wins the points in their opponent's hand. With a Draw game, the players must pick from a draw pile, also known as the boneyard, and play until one player places all of their tiles, the boneyard runs out of tiles, or neither player can make a move.
