Dino Digg is a stickman career simulation game with a paleontological dig theme. The player helps a blue stickman search for and retrieve bones in each level to complete a dinosaur skeleton.
The game starts in a desert environment. The paleontologist stickman wears a hard hat and carries a pickaxe. The player directs the character to enter a cordoned-off site and then dig up the entire area with the pickaxe. The character automatically collects bones revealed by the digging process.
The player directs the stickman to take the clean bones to a nearby platform to build a dinosaur skeleton. The game automatically transfers the bones from the character's backpack to the correct positions along a gray outline of the skeleton. The player must then direct the stickman to a tent where they can clean and polish the remaining bones using tools common to real-world dig sites (i.e., a chisel and a brush). They then direct the character back to the platform to complete the skeleton.
Dino Digg automatically sends the finished piece to a museum. The player receives coins from the sale of tickets to visitors. They then direct the stickman to a different tent to upgrade the character's pickaxe, speed and cleaning skill.
