Bubbles & Hungry Dragon is a timed, battle-style, bubble-shooting game designed for multiple online players. The player receives an avatar in the form of a dragon. They're assigned to a two-person team with a random real-world player. The team must destroy a second two-person team's bubbles to perform attack hits against the enemy dragons.
The player and their online partner use a ring shooter with projectile bubbles to destroy the playfield bubbles. They can pop bubbles in a line of three or more identical bubbles. They must pop bubbles that match the color of an enemy's token to attack the dragon. They use a targeting line and random fireball projectiles to help them with this task.
Bubbles & Hungry Dragon rewards the player with points. When the player's team earns more points than their opponents at the end of a battle, they win coins. They also receive free coin rewards in other ways. After a specific number of wins, they can increase their dragon's rank. Additionally, if they watch videos, they can perform upgrades to the bubbles, their dragon, and their token.
The game tracks the player's success via leaderboards. It offers worldwide, all-time territory, weekly and daily ones.
