BFF Summer Vibes is a dress-up game with a summertime theme. Three friends have decided to enjoy a bright, sunny day at the beach. Yet, before they leave, they need to pick out some cool summer outfits. The player helps them make the best selections.
In each girl's bedroom, the player assists by selecting their makeup, eye color, hairstyle, jewelry, top and bottom outfit or a dress, and accessories. The extras they might carry to the beach include handbags and clutches, ice cream cones and fancy drinks.
Unlike some games, the player can't change a girl's hair color. As a result, they're limited in terms of makeup and clothing colors that best match the jewel-tone highlights that the girls have opted to use on their hair. That said, the game provides a wide selection of color options that match or contrast sharply with their hair colors and styles.
BFF Summer Vibes doesn't offer a photoshoot area. The player must use their device's screenshot or snip tool to save the final looks for a fashion inspiration book or to share with others. The last scene of the game displays the outfits and girls against a beach backdrop that includes nearby ocean waves and islands and clouds in the distance.
