Perfect Prom Night Look is a paper doll dress-up game. Six teenage girls who represent Disney princesses (Snow White, Anna, Elsa, Jasmine, Ariel and Moana) need the player's help to create the best looks for their upcoming high school prom. Each girl needs the player to select her makeup colors, hair style, outfit and accessories.
The player starts by picking lipstick, blush, eye shadow and eye color for the first girl. They then pick out earrings, a necklace, a clutch, a hairstyle and a gown. The game offers plenty of options in most categories. That said, it doesn't allow the player to select mascara, mix and match eye shadow shades, or change the girl's hair color. It also doesn't provide a lot of clutch options.
Perfect Prom Night Look ends with the girls appearing in pairs on a disco-style dance floor in front of a gold curtain with the silhouette of a crowd. Unlike many similar games, it doesn't provide an option for the player to take a snapshot to download the styles to share with others or use as inspiration. As a result, the player must use their device's screenshot or snip tool before the final screen or quickly during each pair reveal to save the looks for future reference.
