Fashion Holic is a fashion and dress-up game with career-influencer and social-sharing elements. A player helps their onscreen avatar dress up for a wide range of personal and professional events in different styles that vary from casual to sexy. The avatar also has a strong social media presence, which the player must improve to be able to earn enough coins and likes to continue buying clothes and accessories.
The game starts with the player choosing a name for their avatar and trying out hair, tops, bottoms, shoes, jewelry and accessories in a dressing room. The avatar receives invitations to special events that outline the style that the player should attempt to create with available clothing in their wardrobe or items they buy in the game's shop. Once they dress up their avatar, they receive points in the form of coins and clothing items. They then have an option to post to social media. They use the likes they acquire from their posts as currency to buy additional items. They can also earn more coins and hearts via a free spin wheel.
