Knee Surgery Simulator is an educational makeover game with a semi-realistic, knee-surgery simulation designed to help young girls and others learn about the process. The player performs the surgery followed by a beauty makeover.
The graphics aren't meant for a person who easily feels squeamish. Although there's minimal blood, the surgery shows several realistic internal parts of the knee and tools used by real-life surgeons.
Unlike similar games, the player doesn't complete the surgery in levels. Instead, the surgery is one level and the beauty makeover is a second one. Onscreen guides walk the player through the exact steps they must take with the surgery, including using anesthetic, cutting open the knee, sawing away the damaged parts, replacing parts with an artificial knee and suturing with staples.
After an unrealistic 10-day in-game wait, the girl's knee is fully healed and the wrappings removed from it. The player then offers post-operative rehabilitation to the girl in the form of a hair and clothing makeover!
Knee Surgery Simulator also offers achievements that the player can win for completing a variety of tasks. If they have an account on the Y8 platform, they can post their accomplishments and the makeover results on it.
