Protect My Dog 3 is the third game of physics-based logic-puzzle challenges from the Protect My Dog Series. The player protects one or more dog heads from various threats, including bees and lava, by drawing barriers around, under or near the head or heads. With this version, the player receives 100 opportunities to protect one or more dogs from increasingly difficult threat scenarios.
The player uses their understanding of gravity and other concepts to create the correct kind of barrier. For example, if a dog is on the ground, they might draw a box around it to prevent a swarm of angry bees from stinging it. They might only use a hand-drawn barrier or incorporate landscape and other elements into their protective design. For example, they might use the side of a hill to protect one side of the dog.
It's important to note that the player must protect the dog or dogs for a specific amount of time. The game displays the time with a red, line-draw stopwatch at the top-center of the screen.
Protect My Dog 3 offers the player a hint tool. That said, they must watch an ad video to use it. The player can also skip any level that proves too difficult if they watch videos.
