Connect Dots 2 is a connect puzzle game that challenges a player with tracing white lines between blue-gray dots on patterns that free-float in front of a moving starfield across three worlds and 16 levels per world. The player can only reach new levels and worlds by unlocking them in successive order.
The player must perform this task without tracing any lines they previously traced between dots. Each level features the time, level and world numbers above the lines and dots. The patterns displayed on the field are created using a variety of shapes, including rectangles, squares and triangles.
As soon as the player selects a dot, Connect Dots 2 provides a yellow arrow to help them trace toward the next dot. After they trace a section, it turns the line turquoise to show them their actions. If the player traces a section unintentionally, they can start over by zapping everything with a yellow laser that appears when they select the double-arrow button.
How to play:
Review the pattern of the geometric shapes. Select a dot. Trace the desired white line. Continue this process without going back over previously traced lines. Use the arrow to making tracing easier. If necessary, zap away past actions with the laser. Complete all levels and worlds.
Controls:
Mouse: To trace the white lines between the dots, position the cursor above a dot, press the left button, align the yellow arrow with the desired white line, slide the mouse until the arrow reaches the next dot, and then stop pressing the button.
Mobile: To race a white line between dots, position the cursor above a dot, press the trackpad or touchscreen, align the arrow with the desired white line, slide the finger or stylus to the next dot, and then stop pressing the surface.
