Letter Garden is a connect-style word search puzzle game. Each level of it features a garden covered in a mix of letter tiles. The player's primary goal is to remove the tiles to reveal rows of specific flowers noted as the theme for that level. They don't need to reveal the entire garden. Instead, they must complete a task before a 120-second timer displayed on a barrel near the upper-right corner runs out of time. The game might require them to remove a row or a column of letters or a specific number of rows and columns.
The player removes tiles by creating words of three or more letters. They can select individual tiles to create these words or use their controls to slide the cursor along the letters. Once they complete their goals, they can receive powerups by clearing away additional letter tiles. Powerups include a Time Guard booster that auto-adds time if the timer reaches zero, a Wild Tile booster that replaces any needed letter, and a Bomb Flower booster that clears out unneeded tiles. They can also remove unwanted adjacent identical tiles (i.e., AAA or ZZZ).
Letter Garden provides the player with a variety of statistics, including details about their best game, highest level completed, best level, longest word, average game score, average level score and full completed gardens.
