Jelly Bomb is a ball game with elements similar to brick-breaking games. At a sweet shop, the owner needs the player's help to clear away candies made with jelly from a two-tone, blue tile table by using balls of jelly remover. The player receives access to easy, medium, and hard modes. Each mode contains 25 locked levels of jelly removal challenges.
A table commonly displays arrows made of jelly and gummy bears. Large jelly candies are a hair's breadth away from bursting with jelly remover balls that might roll in any direction. Small candies don't offer much help. The player must use the smallest amount of jelly to set off a chain reaction in which the larger candies break into balls that roll in just the right directions to remove every candy. If they target the wrong arrow or bear, they fail to produce enough balls, or the existing balls fail to roll in the directions needed to remove every piece of candy.
Jelly Bomb doesn't penalize the player for making mistakes. It offers them numerous opportunities to try different targeting strategies. The game also provides extra jelly removal opportunities. The upper-left corner shows the number of times the player can target candies on a table. For the first few levels, the player only receives one opportunity. In later levels, if a chain reaction leaves some candies on the table and they have extra jelly remover, they can target the remaining candies without the game forcing them to try again.
