Get The Watermelon is a Suika merge game. The player directs anthropomorphic fruit to drop into specific spots inside a clear container with a cream background against a taupe wall. Their goal is to merge identical fruits to evolve those types into a new type. Their ultimate goal is to create a whole watermelon through their merge activity.
The player can review the evolution of fruit merge options on an arrow below the container. Once they understand the order, they start dropping each new fruit, including apples, blueberries, coconuts, oranges, melons and pineapples. This specific version of Suika even includes a cluster of bananas that hides an adorable tiny monkey. Fruit merges in this game offer unique options, such as two banana clusters to make an orange. The player can see a preview of the next available fruit above the word "Next" at the top-right corner of the screen.
Get The Watermelon tracks the player's score at the top center on a brown plaque. If the player allows the container to overflow with fruit, the game ends. The player can then review their last score and their highest score. They can retry the game for free.�
If the player wants to reload the game screen while playing to start over, they must watch an ad video.
