Police Car Parking is a parking game with driver-training, obstacle-course elements. A player must successfully park various police vehicles in different areas of an oceanside city across 20 levels, including parking lots near the police station and retail locations. They must complete a level to unlock the next one and make available cars that include special cruisers, an SUV, an all-terrain vehicle, a race car and a truck.
The obstacle courses feature a wide range of objects that the player must never hit with a vehicle, such as gray-striped, black barriers, white concrete barriers, solid gray walls with spiked, black columns, stacked wooden crates, single oversized crates and orange-and-white traffic cones, columns, poles and signal-style crossing arms. They can drive over and hit speed bumps without receiving a penalty. The game also features wooden ramps in some levels.
Police Car Parking alerts the player when they accidentally hit an object. The object blinks red, and the player is prompted to try again. The game supplies two slider bars (a zoom vertical bar and an angle horizontal bar) to help the player see the obstacle courses from different camera perspectives.
