Fish Resort is a fish farm simulation game. The player grows, buys and sells up to 12 different types of fish over the course of the game. Beyond maintaining the fish, their primary goal is to earn and collect enough stars to unlock new areas of the game.
The player feeds the fish with different types and levels of pellets. They help the fish grow and stay healthy with medicine capsules. The game requires the player to maintain a specific number of fish in the farm on each level.
Large, healthy fish generate coins and stars in bubbles above their heads. The player harvests their earnings and then uses the coins to buy new fish and food. They can also sell fish for extra coins. That said, the fish generate enough coins fast enough to make sales unnecessary. The player must merely wait for the fish to reach a specific size and level of health.
Fish Resort challenges the player in a variety of ways. It increases the number of fish with each new level. If the player doesn't collect the coins and stars quickly enough, the objects disappear. A shark repeatedly attempts to eat the fish. Additionally, the player must supply food pellets and medicine capsules close to specific fish or risk losing the items to the bottom of the sea.
