Decor: Bedroom is a room decorating and remodeling game. The player's goal is to fully decorate a room in cute, fun and functional ways for one or two people and then save their ideas on the Y8 platform or locally to an electronic device or the cloud to share with friends and family or use as a reference for their future bedroom decorating plans.
The player receives a side-cut view of a bedroom with gray walls and a light cream-colored floor marked with a grid similar to graph paper. On the left side of the screen, they can access various categories of items. The categories include storage, beds, desks, chairs, accessories, windows, wallpaper and flooring. Each category contains at least a handful of items.
For example, with flooring, the player can leave the grid or select wall-to-wall tiles, wood or carpet options. In the accessories category, the player can select lamp and computer options. If the player doesn't like a selected object, they can always dump the item in a trash can on the right side of the screen.
Decor: Bedroom allows the player to add stickers to their creation as well. They can then post directly to their Y8 profile or use their device's screenshot or snip options and an image editing program to save the image elsewhere.
