Daily Jigsaw is a tiling-puzzle game that provides a player with traditional tabletop jigsaw puzzles online. It provides one puzzle each day from Monday to Sunday that features a unique, high-quality, photo-style image. It offers three modes (Easy - 24 pieces, Medium - 54 pieces and Hard - 96 pieces). The player completes a puzzle as quickly as possible to earn the most points. If they do well, they receive a time bonus in addition to their base score.
The player arranges random jigsaw-cut pieces to reconstruct the daily image. Every mode offers several tools to help the player complete a puzzle faster. The player can use the Edge button to separate and display the edge pieces to make piecing together the borders of the puzzle easier. The Shuffle button helps the player find patterns. The Preview button reveals the original, complete image. The game also offers three free hints accessible via a lightbulb icon. For additional hints, the player must watch advertisements.
Daily Jigsaw also provides access to puzzles from previous days, weeks and months. That said, the player must watch advertisements to unlock all days roughly a month before the current date.
