ATV Ultimate OffRoad is a high-quality, three-dimensional driving simulation game that focuses on racing small all-terrain vehicles. The game offers several race modes (Free Drive, Race and Time Attack). In these modes, the player can choose 1P or 2P play.
As soon as the player selects race and play modes, they're taken to the Garage area to alter color and tuning options. On the Color screen, they can change the color of the body, helmet, driver and wheels. On the Tuning screen, they can tune the engine, turbo, nitro, gearbox, brake and wheels. They can also unlock additional upgrade stages for each of these areas over time.
In the Free Drive mode, the player simply drives around wherever they please in a cityscape. In Race mode, they compete against virtual players across a wide range of maps to win races and purses. The game displays their position in the race and the number of laps in real time. The player must win races in one region to unlock the next one. Lastly, in Time Attack mode, they attempt to win a race or drive as far as possible before time runs out. This mode also features unlockable races and regions.
ATV Ultimate OffRoad rewards the player with two types of coins and stars when they do well. It also offers an option for the player to unlock new ATVs by watching advertisements.
