Traffic Tour is an open-highway racing game that features true-to-life graphics and traffic conditions. The player must navigate their speeding vehicle in various environments, lighting and weather down busy highways and byways without experiencing a crash.
The game features multiple racing modes, including Career, Racing Now, Daily Event and Street Mining. No matter the mode, the player uses basic controls to steer their vehicle successfully through and around traffic. Although some modes feature a timer, there is no fuel limitation. In online multiplayer races, the player can enhance their gameplay by sending emoji and text messages to other racers.
Before the player starts a race, they're prompted to perform customizations. They can change the mileage to kph or mph and switch between automatic and manual and the location of onscreen pedals. They can adjust the control settings between mobile tilt, buttons and a game steering wheel. They can also choose a vehicle from a gallery of dozens and customize the license plate, power, turbo, brakes, handling, acceleration, nitro and paint job.
The player earns winnings in different ways determined by each racing mode. In Career mode, for example, they must complete more than 100 missions, collect cards and perform other tasks to earn cash and achieve performance bonuses. They can use their winnings to buy extra lives and upgrades.
