Sports Bike Racing is a racing game that focuses entirely on a player using custom motorcycles and other bikes to complete various types of races and stunts. The game features high-quality, realistic graphics in cityscape settings, including streets, the airport and the oceanfront.
The player must prove their skill by performing various maneuvers, such as drifting, jumpint off ramps and across gaps, parkour moves, racing in front of a speed camera at high speeds and loop-de-loop runs. They might also complete a Time Trial in which they need to pass through a certain number of checkpoints before a timer runs out. The game supplies them with hints, such as floating white arrows, that show them where they need to go next.
Sports Bike Racing tracks a player's achievements, including their top speed and best jump, which they can review at the garage that serves as their home base. The player also earns money and diamonds during gameplay that they can use to perform various tasks designed to improve their chances of winning or make their ride more fun. They can customize their base bike by altering the paint, vinyls, LEDs and metal plating. They can upgrade the engine, turbo, tires, transmission and suspension. They can also swap their bike for something entirely different.
