Train Drift is a dash racing game that features both train and drifting elements. The player directs a train car hurtling down a track through coins and around obstacles.
Threats to the car include sharp curves and concrete barriers. The player must direct the car to drift on two tracks at a time to collect coins and jump tracks to prevent it from hitting a barrier. This event happens when they see the main track and a non-connected parallel track nearby ahead of the car.
If the player successfully directs the train car to a black-and-white-checked finish line, they receive the coins as winnings. They can receive an even higher number of coins by using a multiplier bar and watching ads.
Train Drift helps the player by providing them with a rainbow-colored bar at the bottom-center of the screen. With this tool, they can gauge the balance of the train car at all times and correct their actions with the controls to make the car's connection to a track or tracks more stable.
