Rescue Hero: Pull the Pin is a pull-the-pin, logic-puzzle game with an action-adventure, fantasy theme similar to Hero Rescue. A dark-haired knight must find a stolen princess and hidden treasures. The player's goal is to pull or move one or more pins and other objects and bypass obstacles, traps and villains to reach her.
The knight traverses many different landscapes to visit stone towers in search of the princess. The player reviews each scene and then removes or changes the location of the pins to drop treasure from an upper area to the knight, move the knight to an upper spot, or switch the position of the found princess. The player also uses nearby objects, obstacles and traps sometimes to destroy traps or enemies.�
On the home screen of Rescue Hero, the player uses coins they earn after winning levels, watching ads and collecting daily gifts to perform other tasks. For example, they use the button marked with the helmet from a suit of armor at the upper-right corner and their coins to upgrade the appearance of the knight and princess characters. They use the Castle button and coins to build a castle and other important structures. After they reach certain achievement milestones, they're also given opportunities to unlock pets by using the Pets button.
