Home Pin is a pull-the-pin, logic-puzzle game. It requires the player to use their knowledge of science and different strategies to find solutions to problems and then renovate a couple's broken-down home.
The player clicks or taps one or more golden pins to complete tasks. They might drop treasure from an upper area of a building to the husband on the first floor, release him from a pin in an upper area to a lower one, or use a pin to lift him to an upper area. When they perform a task correctly, they receive gold coins. They can increase the number of coins by watching an ad video. If they fail, they can reload the level and try again or watch a video to skip it.
The player must also deal with deadly and other obstacles. They might bypass an obstacle entirely or treat it with an element that negates the danger. They might need to perform some other action, like collect a renovation item to update a room, cut a rope, or help the husband save his wife from harm.�
Home Pin prompts the player to purchase upgrades. From the main screen, the player uses the Gift button to acquire additional daily rewards. They then use the Outfit button to change the look of both characters. They select different unlocked rooms to renovate via the Room button.
The player can also use their coins to display the home's exterior, complete outdoor construction projects, and perform building upgrades during different seasons with the House button. Lastly, they hatch pets via the Pets button after reaching specific milestones.
