Pool Shooter: Billiard Ball is a bubble-popping arcade game that features pool balls sliding down green baize on a six-pocket pool table instead of classic bubbles hanging in front of a scenic backdrop. The player's goal is to earn the highest number of points possible by hitting two or more solids or stripes with matching projectile balls.
The game makes sounds reminiscent of those heard during play when using a real pool table. That said, the similarities end with the visual and audio designs. The entire game acts exactly like a bubble shooter. The balls roll down the table. The player aligns a shot with a light green pointer arrow and shoots projectiles. When a projectile helps to form a line of three identical solids or stripes with a specific matching color and number, the game makes the balls disappear like popped bubbles. It displays the score with white numbers near the stick in a lower-right area.
Pool Shooter: Billiard Ball continuously slides more balls onto the table after so many seconds. Yet, it also features swap play. The next projectile ball rolls toward the center of the table after a shot. Until then, it waits on standby. If the player can't make a poppable line, they can swap the two projectiles with double white arrows in an attempt to remove the balls from the table faster.
