Only Up Parkour is a three-dimensional extreme sports game similar to Only Up Online (Only Up 3D Parkour: Go Ascend). A player directs the actions of a boy who wears glasses, a backwards red ball cap, casual street clothes and a backpack up into the sky as far as possible. They must use a combination of parkour and non-parkour actions to help the boy reach the highest point.
The game starts in a park enclosed by a brick wall and a metal fence. The park features a picnic table, wooden benches and a green dumpster. The player starts the kid's journey by directing the boy to jump onto the dumpster. They then direct him to jump on top of and climb various platforms and other objects, such as pieces of furniture, statues, police cars, taxis and other vehicles, and buildings. Their primary goal is to take him into the sky to see everything from a new perspective!
Only Up Parkour makes the upward journey harder as the boy ascends. The player might have to direct him around obstacles and on moving platforms. That said, the game presents them with a wide variety of fantastic environments to explore, such as the tops of roofs and a vibrant green block-world area.
