Nuts Puzzle: Sort by Color is a sorting game that features colored nuts and metal bolts instead of more traditional colored water and test tubes. The player must sort the pieces so that each bolt only contains one color of stacked nuts.
The game only allows the player to stack nuts on top of nuts of the same color from bolt to bolt when rearranging the mixed up stacks. That said, it automatically twists the nuts off and onto the bolts and moves multiple stacked nuts of the same color at the same time. As a result, the player can rapidly strategize when repositioning the nuts. They also only need to select one nut in a group of matching ones to move all pieces in the group from bolt to bolt.
The player receives multiple challenges across the game's many levels. For example, some extremely hard levels display dark gray mystery nuts labeled with white question marks. The game doesn't reveal the colors until the player removes the nuts stacked above the pieces.
Nuts Puzzle: Sort by Color helps the player by offering undo move and extra bolt boosters. The player initially receives 10 undo moves and three extra bolts. The game further assists by allowing them to buy extra ones with coin level-completion and ad-viewership rewards. The player wins extra boosters by opening random treasure chests with or without keys. They also win coins or boosters with a spin wheel.
