The Ghost and Molly McGee: Band Shell Boo-Nanza! by Disney is a simulation game that focuses on teaching the player about semi-realistic tasks that people must complete to successfully run an event. The Mayor of Brighton has put Molly in charge of running a six-day talent week at the Brighton Band Shell stage in the town's park. Molly need the help of the pessimistic ghost Scratch and the player to keep the crowds happy.
The player must make each day a success to unlock the next day. With Molly as their avatar, they complete various tasks during the event, such as plugging the cables to sounds and other electronics into the right outlets, handing out coupons to visitors, clearing the ticket line of ticket and non-ticket holders, and picking up trash and recycling from the ground. They must also collect floating snacks, such as fries, ice cream and pizza, to pay to upgrade areas related to Scratch's abilities.
The Ghost and Molly McGee: Band Shell Boo-Nanza! isn't a game for someone looking for relaxing, slow-paced play. To keep the crowds happy before time runs out for the day, the player must direct Molly to walk rapidly to different areas and perform a wide range of tasks.
