Kim Possible: Mission: Improbable by Disney is a timed spy-adventure platformer that features cooperative or co-op play and unique side puzzles. Athena has hidden slime bombs throughout Middleton, USA. It's up to Kim and Ron to find every bomb and reach the high school to stop Athena. The player completes level-style missions.
The player can switch between Kim and Ron during play. Each character receives a total of three lives. If the player makes a mistake during a mission, a character only loses part of one of their lives. The player must also switch often between the characters to use their unique abilities. For example, Kim can jump on an enemy, perform parkour maneuvers in a gap between two walls, and use a grappling hook. Ron can use his jetpack to reach a higher area and hack computer systems with help from Rufus.
Kim Possible: Mission: Improbable also features a diamond collection challenge and achievements. With the former, the player directs the characters to collect all floating diamond tokens in a level. With the latter, they receive awards for various things, such as defeating a specific number of enemies or one particular enemy, acquiring a certain number of tokens, and completing the game.
