Magic Lines is a logic-puzzle game with elements similar to Lines 98 and other popular block-puzzle and match-3 games. The player's goal is to create five-ball, one-color diagonal, horizontal or vertical lines on a 9x9 grid made of frosted blocks against a gradient blue, pink and purple background. They receive points when they complete lines. Their other goal is to play as long as possible to attempt to earn the highest score.
The player receives a few balls initially. They must reposition these balls into optimal positions to start the five-ball lines. They can move balls across empty, frosted blocks and across or onto spaces that display smaller previews of the next round of balls.
The game adds three new balls to the grid at a time whenever the player repositions a single ball. It also displays previews near the upper center-right area of the screen. The upper center-right area displays the current score.
Magic Lines offers boosters and prizes. The player initially receives free hammer and bomb boosters that allow them to remove one or more balls of any color to open up spaces on the grid. They can earn more boosters by watching videos and playing the free spin wheel every 24 hours.
The game features a leaderboard of the top players by rank. The player can access it by using the button marked with a trophy on the home screen.
