Level Up Runner is a giant stickman rush game with boxing elements that takes place on a racecourse. The stickman rushes down the track automatically. The player directs him to the left, right or center of the track to pick up red and gold boxing gloves that increase his muscles, overall size and punching force. They also direct him to collect purple gems that they can use to update the stickman with various types of headgear, including a Pikachu animal hat, a beer hat, a cowboy hat and a two-horn helmet.
The player can increase the muscles and size of the stickman by watching an ad before starting the race as well. The player can also unlock random headgear and multiply their winnings by watching ads. When the player makes the stickman more powerful, no matter the method, the level above the character's head shows a number increase. This number alerts them to the type of fighters the stickman can take on when running down the track. The player should never direct the stickman to fight a character with a higher number.
Level Up Runner presents a wide range of obstacles beyond higher-level fighters. The player must direct the character around turnstiles with spikes and large wooden hammers and through glass and other walls. When the character reaches the end of the track, they fight a boss-style enemy in a boxing ring. If the stickman has reached a high enough level, he punches the enemy through brick walls that display different multipliers.
That said, the player can also direct the character through power-up objects that allow it to fly and punch harder.
