Bubble Shooter Challenge 2 tasks a player with earning points by shooting colored candy bubbles that bounce around like balls and hang from the top of the game screen. The player must connect a projectile bubble to two matching bubbles to create a line that pops. Bubbles below that line fall and pop after bouncing against the playfield's vertical side walls or the walls separating areas labeled with the number of points available (50 | 100 | 250 | 100 | 50).
The player uses a shooter that contains the main projectile bubble and the next one available. They also receive access to a targeting line made of colored dots that match the main projectile color. They use the dots to help them align the shot with the correct matching color bubbles in the rows. They receive combo points multipliers for consecutive line removals. The bubbles slide down the playfield. The game ends if even one slides below the bottom of the screen.
Bubble Shooter Challenge 2 offers a golden laser booster that appears after a specific number of consecutive line removals. The player can shoot the laser through any bubbles on the playfield to earn points.�
The game also features a leaderboard with 50 of the top scores. It prompts the player to add a username and their score to the board.
