We Baby Bears: Temple Bears by Cartoon Network is a dungeon-crawl logic-puzzle game in which the player helps the bears from the We Baby Bears animated series. A totem robot challenges the bears to reach the end of a dangerous temple to retrieve a house key. It dumps the brothers separately into dungeon-style areas deep within the temple.
The player uses the unique skills of each brother to perform a wide range of tasks related to navigating the temple. For example, they must break ancient jars to collect stars, open treasure chests to collect dungeon keys, unlock doors, step onto buttons, escape traps, reunite the bears, and find the key.
Ice Bear can break or open objects and switch levers with a hammer, and swim across water. Grizz can stump on jars and push objects blocking pathways or doors. Panda can bash jars, navigate dark dungeons and light torches. The player directs the bears to bypass threats such as monster plants, shooting crystal darts, spike platforms and water pools.
We Baby Bears: Temple Bears eventually requires the player to switch to more cooperative play. After the player reunites the bears, they use the controls to switch between the brothers to make navigating parts of each area easier. It's important to note that the dungeon rooms and switching become more complex over time.
