Relax Bubble Shooter is a bubble-shooting game that offers relaxing music and sounds and soothing graphics. The player attempts to score as many points as they can while clearing levels of bubbles hanging in front of a stunning backdrop. They can only remove the bubbles if they shoot a projectile at two connected bubbles that match the projectile's color. They can shoot groups of matching bubbles as well. If they remove non-matching bubbles under a line or group (i.e., perform an avalanche), they receive bonus points.
The player shoots at the bubbles using a dais-style magic shooter that holds three bubbles plus a floating main projectile. The player fires the projectile by using a dotted aim line to direct the shot. They initially receive 60 shots. They can add to this total over time by completing missions, such as by dropping a specific number of bubbles per level. They can also use a swap option to improve their chances. With it, the player sorts through the available projectiles to find one that increases their chance of completing a line or group with it.
Relax Bubble Shooter offers several boosters or powerups to clear a level faster. For example, the player can use a Line Clear Bubble to remove a horizontal row and everything beneath it. The game also offers a rarely seen booster known as a Move Plus Bubble that provides the player with extra moves based on the number of matching bubbles attached to it when the player hits the connected line or group with a matching projectile.
