Lover Ball: Red and Blue, or Red and Blue Ball: Cupid Love, is a team-based side-scroller inspired by the Red Ball series. The player or two players direct the movements of Red Ball and Blue Ball through levels in a jungle environment. The player helps the balls collect floating pieces of a heart that represent their love.
The player or players must switch between the balls to complete a level. Level completion is impossible unless the balls work together as a team. For example, Red Ball can only collect the red piece of the heart. Blue Ball must collect the blue piece. One ball might need to press a button or change the direction of a lever to help the other ball complete their task and reach the end of a level.
Lover Ball: Red and Blue helps the player with a variety of boosters that make level completion easier. For example, a magnet with wings can help the player automatically attract floating coins to one or both balls. That said, the player must often watch ads to use boosters. Ad viewing is also typically required when the player earns or wins gifts and uses coin multipliers.
How to play:
Direct the movement of a ball. After collecting coins and half of a heart, switch to and direct the second ball. Use boosters. Upgrade each ball's abilities. When faced with an enemy, make a ball bounce atop it. Watch ads to collect freebies.
Controls:
Keyboard: Use the Left Arrow or Right Arrow to make a ball roll. To make a ball jump, use Up Arrow. To switch to a different ball, use the right-side Ctrl key.
Mouse: To direct a ball, click the relevant onscreen arrow icons. To switch balls, click the icon marked with two balls. To adjust the camera view, click the X icon, and slide the mouse.
Mobile: To direct a ball, tap the relevant arrow icons. To switch balls, tap the two-ball switch icon. To change the camera view, tap the X icon, and slide the stylus or finger.
