Real Drift Multiplayer is a highly realistic, timed racing game that features drift-style stunt driving. The player receives the opportunity to drive up to three different cars on a winding mountain road in warm and cool weather during the day and night. They must complete near-perfect slides through each curve to earn money and perform car upgrades. Unlike similar games, they don't need to reach a finish line. They merely need to oversteer and lose traction to slide through as many curves as possible.
The player doesn't receive enough free cash initially to upgrade to a different car. Since every alteration costs money, including a paint job, they should improve the vehicle's functionality by upgrading the tires, engine, steering, brakes or spoiler. They can also adjust the angle of the wheels and the suspension spring force, distance and damping.
Real Drift Multiplayer offers both multiplayer and single-player modes. The player also selects a Day, Night or Snowy environment. When drifting, a bar appears onscreen to measure their skill. The game doesn't award money for drifting before a curve. That said, the player can also earn money by watching ads.
The realism in this game can't be emphasized enough. The vehicle experiences damage, such as crumpled panels and flying sparks, when scraping or slamming into concrete barriers, leaves behind skid marks, and slides on slushy snow. The player can alter the camera view between the back, side angle, above and interior.
