Maze Paint is a sliding-tile logic puzzle game in which a player directs a round object through channels carved into white game boards to highlight or "paint" the channels. It features 80 relaxing levels of play.
The player must play all levels in order. They initially receive a glossy red ball to serve as their paint tool. Other similar games, such as Paint Sponges Puzzle, use tools commonly used for painting in the real world.
When the player starts, they use a dragging or swiping motion to direct the ball through a channel. As the ball rolls, the game automatically changes the channel color from the background color behind the frame to a paint color. It also reveals hidden squares. As a result, a channel looks more like a grid of painted squares.
Maze Paint allows the player to make the ball roll back over painted areas. They don't need to worry about a penalty for crossing previously painted areas.
The game also permits the player to change the ball after Level 10. As they progress to specific levels, they can switch to a wet green ball, cute animals in round shapes, a beach ball, a chocolate ball, a cake ball and a cheese burger for paint tools.
