Matches Puzzle Game is a brain-test, logic-puzzle game with a classic matchstick puzzle setup. The player uses their knowledge of mathematics and spatial awareness to add, reposition or remove yellow matches with red tips on a brown board that features matches and empty spaces in various positions. They must find solutions to problems presented as task instructions across 1,000 levels.
The game starts by giving the player three free solution hints. The player starts with a simple math equation puzzle. They must reposition one match to make the equation correct. If they have any difficulty, they can use a hint to briefly see the correct solution. If they run out of hints, they must watch ad videos to earn more.
Matches Puzzle Game doesn't always demand a solution that perfectly matches a request. In fact, multiple solutions often exist. The player must guess the correct one. The game doesn't feature a skip-level tool. As a result, the player often needs to use hints to see the correct solutions. They can also reload a level for free.
For example, if the game asks the player to move four matches to make two squares, they must remove four from the board and then return them to new positions on the board. If the game wants them to create four squares, they might also need to create other geometric shapes to complete the task correctly, even if another solution exists that doesn't require the extra shapes.
